Abstract

Abstract. This research is motivated by deaf adolescent who have achievements like normal children in general. The purpose of this study is to explain the description of self-efficacy in deaf adolescents with achievement. The method used in this research is a qualitative method with a case study approach. The subject is a deaf adolescent who excels. Data analysis techniques are data collection, data reduction, data display and conclusions. Data collection techniques used, namely observation, interviews and documentation. The results of the study found that First, the subject was able to overcome difficult tasks and choose more challenging tasks beyond their limitations and was able to get the title of tourism ambassador. Second, the source of the subject's strength to get through a difficult task comes from his aspiration to make his parents happy. Third, the subject is able to do tasks in various fields and various situations such as being able to dance even though he can't hear and won the award in making short films. By having self-efficacy, deaf adolescents are able to achieve. Abstrak. Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh remaja tunarungu yang memiliki prestasi seperti anak normal pada umumnya. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk menjelaskani gambaran efikasi diri pada remaja tunarungu berprestasi. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini ialah metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Subjek adalah seorang remaja tunarungu yang berprestasi. Teknik analisis data yaitu pengumpulan data, reduksi data, display data dan kesimpulan. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan, yaitu observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menemukan bahwa Pertama, subjek mampu mengatasi tugas yang sulit dan memilih tugas yang lebih menantang di luar keterbatasannya serta mampu meraih gelar duta wisata. Kedua, sumber kekuatan subjek untuk melewati tugas yang sulit berasal dari cita-citanya untuk membahagiakan orang tua. Ketiga, subjek mampu mengerjakan tugas dalam berbagai bidang dan berbagai situasi seperti mampu menari meskipun tidak bisa mendengar dan meraih juara dalam pembuatan film pendek. Dengan memiliki efikasi diri, remaja tunarungu mampu berprestasi.
