Abstract

Pulse current variation can result in internal magnetic field of magnetic exciting coil variation, thus we analyzed the theoretical model of electromagnetic field by theoretically analyzing the action of magnetic exciting coil on shaped charge jet(SCJ), coupling of electromagnetic field, temperature field, and structure field with finite element method, and obtained the influence laws of coil pulse current intensity and width on quasi-static SCJ. The results shows that the instable deformation of SCJ is more obvious as the coil pulse current amplitude increases. The coil pulse current width needs to be large enough to ensure reliable deformation of SCJ, at the same time, time series that the SCJ produces and pulse current loads need to be exactly matched, so that magnetic field is intense enough before the SCJ passes into magnetic exciting coil, and the magnetic flux intensity needs to be larger than 12 T. The research achievements have important significance to enhance penetration of high explosive anti-tank(HEAT).
