Câncer infantil

Abstract

Este trabalho teve o objetivo de investigar os aspectos psico-afetivos da criança com câncer, no Instituto Maranhense de Oncologia Aldenora Bello, e analisá-los como um dos possíveis fatores etiológicos da doença. Apresenta-se um referencial teórico sobre a importância da relação da criança com seus pais ou referências como suporte psíquico, emocional e social da criança.This work aims at investigating the psycho-affective aspects of children with cancer, at Aldenora Bello Oncology Institute of Maranhão, and analyzing them as possible etiologic factors of the disease. It presents a theoretical reference about the importance of relationship between the children and their parents or references as children emotional, social and psychical support. It also addresses childhood cancer and its general characteristics.
