Abstract

This article explores the transformative effects of digital media technology on artistic creation and communication. It highlights how advancements such as virtual reality, augmented reality, and artificial intelligence have revolutionized the art world, enabling artists to transcend traditional media limitations. Through a comparative empirical study involving two groups of artists—one using traditional methods and the other employing digital tools—the research reveals significant benefits of digital integration. The experimental group demonstrated a 15% reduction in creation time, a 20% decrease in costs, and a substantial increase in audience engagement, with a 3.8-fold rise in viewers and 180% more interactions. Additionally, the quality of digital works surpassed traditional ones in both professional scoring and innovation. The findings underscore the necessity for collaboration between art and technology sectors to enhance creative processes and broaden the global reach of contemporary art, ultimately fostering a richer artistic landscape.
