Abstract
The article focuses on the new paternalism which examines how people deviate from the rationality of mainstream economics and make them better by their own standards. It adds that the role of voluntary organizations and civil society in helping to influence behavior is taken over by the new paternalism. It adds that the extremeness aversion which is a tendency to avoid positions that are presented as exploited by the new paternalists by presenting their position as a middle ground.
