Abstract

Archery is a type of achievement sport. One of the factors of achieving achievement in sports requires the fulfillment of balanced nutrition. Energy adequacy level is reflected in the nutritional status of athletes. Nutritional status has a direct effect on diet. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between consumption patterns and nutritional status of archery athletes who are members of PERPANI Banjar Regency. This type of research is analytic through a quantitative approach with cross sectional. The population, namely all PERPANI archery athletes in Banjar Regency, was known to be 23 people with total sampling data. The independent variable is the athlete's diet obtained by a questionnaire and using the FFQ form. Data analysis used the Spearman Rank Correlation test with a confidence level of 95% and α = 0.05. The results found that 60.9% of the nutritional status of alet was normal, 48.0% of the diet was sufficient. It was found a significant relationship between diet and nutritional status in PERPANI athletes in Banjar Regency. The diet of PERPANI athletes in Banjar Regency who is in the low category is in order to increase the variety of food consumed, the easier it is to meet the needs and improve the normal nutritional status of the athletes.  Keyword : Archery Athletes, Eating Patterns, Nutritional Status
