Abstract

Martin Bernard, Euis Eti Rohaeti pamartin23md@gmail.com, e2rht@yahoo.com STKIP Siliwangi Bandung ABSTRAK Penelitian ini ditujukan untuk menemukan peningkatan kemampuan penalaran matemati kdan disposisi matematik siswa melalui pembelajaran kontekstual berbantuan Game Adobe Flash Cs 4.0(CTL-GAF). Penelitian ini adalah bagian dari tesis magister dan bagian dari Penelitian Hibah Pascasarjana DIKTI pada tahun 2015. Studi ini adalahsuatu kuasi eksperimen dengan disain pretest-postes kelompok kontrol yang melibatkan 82siswa kelas 10 dari satu SMK di Cimahiyang ditetapkan secara purposif. Instrumen penelitian ini adalah tes uraian kemampuan penalaran matematik, dan skala disposisi matematik. Studi menemukan dalam penalaran matematik siswa yang mendapat pembelajaran (CTL-GAF) mencapai skor yang tergolong baik sedangkan penalaran matematik siswayang mendapat pembelajaran konvensional tergolong sedang. Siswa pada kelas konvensional masih mengalami kesulitan dalam membuat perkiraan, menarik generaliasasi, dan membuktikan dalam trigonometri. Selain itu ditemukan pula tidak terdapat asosiasi antara kemampuan penalaran dan disposisi matematik. Kata kunci: penalaran matematik, disposisi matematik, pembelajaran kontekstual, Game Adobe Flash Cs 4.0 ABSTRACT This study was intended to investigate the development of students’ mathematical reasoning ability and disposition through contextual teaching and learning assissted by Game Adobe Flash Cs 4.0 (CTL-GAF). It adopted a pretest-postestquasi-experimental control group design involving eighty two tenth-grade students of a vocational high school in Cimahi which were chosen puposively.The instruments of this study arean essay test on mathematicalreasoning ability, and a mathematical disposition scale. The study revealed that on mathematical reasoning ability students getting treatment CTL-GAF attained good grades and students of conventional teaching obtained medium grades. Students of conventional teaching class realized diffificulties on estimating, on generalization, and proving concerning trigonometry. Moreover, the study proved that there were no different grades on mathematical disposition between students of the both classess and the grades were fairly good, and there was no correlation between mathematical reasoning ability and mathematical disposition. Finally, vocational mathematics teachers are recommended to make use of the game to encourage the students to improve their mathematical reasoning ability. Keyword:
