Abstract

Comments on the article by D. David et al (see record 1999-00974-003) concering the prevalence of psychotic symptoms in patients with combat-related posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD). The author believes David et al's criteria for considering a hallucination "psychotic" are reasonable, but problematic in the context of PTSD. The author suggest a more stringent set of criteria than those proposed by David et al. (PsycINFO Database Record (c) 2000 APA, all rights reserved) Record 247 of 814 in PsycINFO 1999-2001/12
