Les perturbations dans les relations d'interdépendance forte

Abstract

The purpose of this paper is to study major disruptions – causing a disequilibrium – in buyer-supplier relationships of strong interdependence, deemed stable. The paper focuses on the causes of these disruptions. Three disturbances between system integrator and strategic supplier(s) of the aerospace industry are analysed. They highlight the role of stakeholders in developing disruption, the strengthening of the buyer-supplier relationship in the resulting new equilibrium and the political role performed by the supplier relationship manager.
