Abstract

The article presents questions and answers related to codes for autism spectrum disorder (ASD)-related services, including diagnostic codes that should be used to report ASD, ICD-10-CM code that should be used when ASD is suspected but no formal diagnosis made yet, and whether F80.82 (social pragmatic communication disorder) and ASD can be reported together.
