Abstract

With the development of social economy, the environmental problems caused by traditional buildings are becoming increasingly obvious, which has aroused widespread concern in the society. The main social contradictions in China changed in 2017, which means that people have put forward higher requirements for other aspects of a better life, such as the environment. China's economic structure is centered on heavy pollution and low-end manufacturing. In the long run, the cost of restoring the environment is much higher than the profitability of the enterprise. In addition, some resources are not renewable, and the mining industry is bound to face the problem of resource depletion. Therefore, China's development model needs to be transformed. In the context of the conversion of old and new kinetic energy, green buildings are gradually becoming the mainstream of the construction industry. This article mainly introduces the development status of green buildings in China, exposes the existing problems and gives corresponding measures to better achieve sustainable development.
