Abstract

We developed a system for measuring the radiation characteristics of the human voice. It has a high flexibility in the arrangement of measurement points. The measurement channels are also significantly more than in previous studies. In the future, we will verify that this system can adequately measure the radiation characteristics of the human voice in terms of the number of channels and measurement environment. We are currently constructing a database of radiation characteristics measured by different speakers using this system. In the future, based on this database, we will investigate methods for reproducing radiation characteristics and utilizing them in content production. We will also obtain knowledge on the perception of the radiation characteristics of the human voice. Moreover, we will aim to contribute to the standardization of AR/VR audio technology using the measured data by the developed system.
