Abstract

The present invention is directed to substituted benzothiazole compds. of formula I (wherein R1 is H, C1-6-alkyl, C1-6-alkoxy, amino, etc.; R2 is H, aryl, heteroaryl, etc.; R3 is H or C1-4-alkyl; X is carbonyl, aminocarbonyl, oxycarbonyl or sulfonyl; and R4 is C1-4-alkyl, aryl, etc.) and forms thereof, their synthesis and use for treating a chronic or acute protein kinase mediated disease, disorder or condition. Example compd. II was prepd. by reacting the appropriate benzothiazole amine compd. with 2,6-difluorophenylisocyanate. II had an IC50 of 5.761 μM in a CDK2 kinase assay. [on SciFinder(R)]
