Abstract

The first coordination compound of copper and tiglic acidnamed tetrakis(u-tiglato)bis (tiglic acid)dicopper(II) was synthesized and crystallized from water solution. Its structure was determined and analyzed based on X-ray diffraction measurement. The paddle-wheel coordination system of the investigated compound wZs compared with other simila f coppet structures known in the literature. The Htrshfeld analysis was used for the detailed analysis of intefmolecular interaction. The new comipound was also characterize in terms og tnfrared absorp tion, thermal, and mazne tic properties. The antiferromagnetic coupling of copper ions was found.
