Abstract
The article discusses Kansas, many states that have coming off an era of accountability under the federal No Child Left Behind requirements, has looking at meaningful ways to value and measure student success. Topics include Kansas has a 10-member state board of education that traditionally holds a strategic planning retreat in February following the election of new members; and the spring of 2015 has the best opportunity to conduct tours for the state.
