Benefits of a Collaborative Platform for Educational Management. Laboratories of the Faculty of Engineering, Cafam University Foundation

Abstract

The objective of the study is to analyze a digital collaboration platform through the benefits and possibilities offered by its use in the Cafam University Foundation, as a support for the management activities of the Engineering laboratories. Methodologically, the study has a qualitative approach, with hermeneutic analysis. The techniques used were the bibliographic review and semi-structured interviews with five teachers as key informants within the university environment. Among the conclusions, the use of collaborative technological tools such as Share Point is pertinent and relevant, due to the benefits it brings to both teaching-learning processes and administrative aspects. Likewise, the collaborative platform of Unicafam offers wide possibilities of development in accordance with the institutional policies that seek the development of Competencies, mediated by digital environments.
