Abstract

Fibromyalgia is common and has significant personal and societal outcomes. Understanding of the syndrome has advanced through an improved integrated knowledge of both psychological and neurophysiological aspects of the condition. Better management strategies should result from this approach. © 2007 Asia Pacific League of Associations for Rheumatology.
