Abstract

"In this work, the application of the SCOR model to a supply chain of a company in the agroindustrial sector is presented. The primary objective was to determine how the SCOR model improved the current supply chain, as well as the economic, administrative and financial impact it has on it. Therefore, firstly, we proceeded to identify the levels of the process, key performance indicators, attributes and logistical operations that are carried out throughout the agroindustrial production chain. The usefulness of the application of the SCOR model is determined by the identification it achieves of the components of the chain, evidencing the strengths and weaknesses that it presents in the external and internal relations of logistics. From this perspective, it was determined that the application of the SCOR model makes logistics operations more efficient throughout the chain and is the most appropriate, compared to other models (4C's, 4 gaps) that are analyzed in this research. To evaluate the impact of this model on the company's supply chain, a documentary investigation was carried out, making projections of sales, warehouse capacity, labor, production, and it was compared against the cost of implementing it in the company, giving as result 1.26, that is, there is a return on the capital invested when implementing this model."
