Abstract

IL-17-expressing CD4+ T cells have been recently recognized as a new subset of Th cells, namely Th17 cells. Considerable progress has been made in understanding the developmental regulation of mouse Th17 cells. Here, I summarize this knowledge and discuss on the relationship of Th17 with regulatory and follicular helper (Tfh) cells. © 2009 Wiley-VCH Verlag GmbH & Co. KGaA, Weinheim.
