Abstract

Asid-baz fizyolojisini ileri seviyedeanlamak, yoğun bakımda çalışan hekimler için en önemli konulardan birisidir. Asid baz bozukluklarının doğru tanı ve tedavisi yoğun bakım hekimlerinin günlük pratikte en sık karşılaştıları sorunlardandır. Bu derlemenin amacı, asit baz dengesinin kısa tarihçesi, anyon gap, baz excess ve strong iyon teorisinden bahsederek, asit baz dengesiyle ilgili, güncel bilgileri sunmaktır.Understanding acid-basephysiology is of utmost importance for critical care clinicians. Proper diagnosis and effective treatment of acid base disturbances are a daily routine for intensivists. The aim of this review is to present updated data about acid base balance and give information of brief history, anion gap, base excess and strong ion theory.
