Abstract
Gastric teratomas are usually benign. The case of a two-month-old male patient in whom an abdominal mass was detected is presented. Ultrasound and CT studies of the abdomen showed a large tumor in the greater curvature of the stomach. By endoscopy, intra-gastric growth was observed. The treatment was surgical, with gastrectomy and total tumor resection. By pathology, the diagnosis was of mature gastric teratoma. Monitoring for five years has not revealed evidence of recurrence or malignancy.
