This study aims to identify and analyze factors that influence the development of competitive and cooperative strategies in the industry of jewelry of Guapor-RS. The methodological procedures employed in the study are explained by qualitative and exploratory studies, along with data collected through a questionnaire presented to randomnly chosen producers of jewelry and semi jewelry. Data were analyzed using the transcription of the questionnaire responses and organized in tables for better understanding. The results indicate that firms using strategies that are competitive and exercise cooperative thinking result in producing low-costs.
