Abstract

This study includes the species of Phytolaccaceae registered for the canga of the Serra dos Carajás, Pará state, and provides detailed descriptions, illustrations, and morphological comments, of the only species registered for the study area Phytolacca thyrsiflora, widely distributed from North to South America.
