Abstract

Hot-melt systems allow rapid and economic production of pressure-sensitive adhesives (PSAs) with minimal VOC emissions. Radiation-curable versions offer greatly improved chemical and high-temperature resistance. Four radiation-curable PSA formulations are presented, and the effects of raw material selection on their final properties are explained.
