Abstract

This study analysed the influence of temperature and other environmental factors on the growth of brown trout Salmo trutta YOY in Europe. Air temperature accounted for the greatest proportion of the variance in maximum total length, but the inclusion of other factors significantly increased the proportion of the variance explained. © 2011 The Authors.
