Abstract

Almost all of R. Brown ter.'s bryaceous type specimens of the New Zealand mosses are taxonomically revised. Brachymenium cf. exile is added to the New Zealand moss flora Bryum cylindrothecium is accepted as valid and many wrong determinations made by Dixon (1926) are corrected. © 1984 Taylor & Francis Group, LLC.
