Abstract
The asymmetric unit of the title compound, C14H 11BrN2O, contains three independent molecules with very similar geometries. The dihedral angles between the side chain of the cyclopropyl plane and the five-membered ring to which it is attached are 55.0 (2), 58.1 (2) and 60.2 (3)°for the three molecules. Each molecule forms an intramolecular C - H⋯O hydrogen bond.
