Abstract

The effects of plasticization on the morphology of plasticized poly(methyl methacrylate-co-cesium methacrylate) ionomers were studied using small-angle X-ray scattering (SAXS). The relative intensity of the SAXS peak decreased with increasing plasticizer content. The presence of the plasticizer decreased the electron density of the scattering centers. The X-ray scattering intensity also decreased with plasticizer content.
