Abstract
In accordance with the current trend of analytical studies on educational policies, focused on broadening the understanding of the micropolitical dimension (implementation) with respect to the macropolitical dimension (development), this article falls within the field of policy analysis and presents a critical review on studies regarding implementation of educational policies. Such studies seek to understand the extent to which language and subjectivity, as aspects of the propagation of such policies, affect the implementation of educational policies, and demonstrate the importance of increased understanding of this subjectivity and its relationship with language, contexts and policy.
