Therapy with family systems including a tyrannical child encounters the same kind of difficulties than therapy with child neglecting families: premature therapeutic discontinuation. A study of twenty two families with disruptive children, without any characterized psychiatric trouble, has allowed to observe family relationships and to identify whose family myths would be the most useful to bring the therapy to an effective outcome.
