Abstract

This special issue contains 6 articles focusing on a review of HIV and surgery in Africa; evolution of HIV and AIDS programmes in an African institution of higher learning - the case of the Copperbelt University in Zambia; HIV infection and AIDS in Sub-Saharan Africa - current Status, challenges and Opportunities; HIV risk among men who have sex with men, women who have sex with women, lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender populations in South Africa; HIV Prevention - the key to ending AIDS by 2030; and HIV self-testing, self-stigma and haart treatment at the University of Limpopo - sciences students' opinion and perspectives.
