Abstract

In general, companies have three main objectives that are mutually sustainable: maximizing profits, prosperity for shareholders, and maximizing corporate value. This study aims to determine the value of companies in the consumer goods and mining sectors on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) during 2018-2020 based on: 1) investment decisions, 2.) financing decisions, and (3) dividend policy. The population in this study were all companies in the consumer goods and mining sectors listed on the IDX for the 2018–2020 period, totaling 112 companies. Using purposive sampling technique, 25 companies were obtained that met the criteria as research samples. The statistical method used is multiple linear regression analysis with SPSS version 25. The results show that funding decisions have a significant effect on firm value, while investment decisions and dividend policy have no significant effect on firm value.
