Abstract
To thoroughly implement the national strategic deployment of the ‘Artificial Intelligence Plus’ initiative and actively promote the integrated development of artificial intelligence technology with higher education, this article takes the course ‘Engineering Economics’ as a case study. Addressing current challenges in university teaching, it builds upon the existing blended learning framework by introducing AI technology into both the teaching and learning processes. This creates a three-stage closed-loop learning model characterised by ‘online self-directed learning, offline in-depth exploration, and human-machine collaborative extension’. Practical outcomes demonstrate that this AI-enhanced blended teaching model enhances students’ comprehension of engineering economics theories while elevating their ability to apply knowledge to real-world problems.
