Abstract

Hemangiopericytoma is an aggressive, highly metastatic tumor of the soft tissues and meninges. Metastases have been reported in the liver, lungs, bones and rarely other organs. To the best of our knowledge, 18 cases of pancreatic metastases have been reported, but none have been described in the radiology literature. We report a case of hemangiopericytoma with metastasis to the pancreas and describe the CT imaging features of hemangiopericytoma with a review of the literature. © 2009 International Cancer Imaging Society.
