Abstract

The information available on the larvae of Australian Synlestidae is summarised. The larvae of Episynlestes albicauda (Tillyard), E. cristatus Watson and Moulds, E. intermedius Theischinger and Watson, Synlestes selysi Tillyard, S. tropicus Tillyard and the three subspecies of S. weyersii Selys (S. w. weyersii, S. w. nigrescens Tillyard and S. w. tillyardi Fraser) are described, and further details are given of the larva of Chorismagrion risi Morton.
