Abstract

This paper explores the influence of institutional culture, leadership, and supportive policies on fostering intrapreneurship in higher education institutions in Albania. Using a quantitative research design, data were collected through a structured questionnaire and analyzed with statistical tools, including Cronbach's Alpha for reliability, factor analysis for dimensionality reduction, and inferential tests such as the Chi-Square Test, ANOVA, and linear regression analysis. The findings reveal a significant correlation between supportive organizational culture, effective leadership styles, and strategic institutional policies in advancing intrapreneurial activities. The study emphasizes that fostering innovation requires a proactive and visionary leadership approach, along with institutional structures and policies that support creativity and initiative. Furthermore, it highlights the critical role of embedding innovation within the cultural and operational frameworks of higher education institutions. Based on the results, the paper provides practical recommendations for Albanian higher education policymakers to enhance managerial strategies and institutional practices, aiming to nurture a more dynamic and innovative academic environment.
