Abstract

This articel aims to (1) analyze a variety of ideal family empowerment based agricultural activities and solutions to be used by the community to improve the family economy and child growth, and (2) implement an family empowerment based agriculture program through non-formal education as an ideal solution . This study used a qualitative descriptive method with data collection carried out by means of interviews and documentation on subjects consisting of village heads, village officials, and community village. The results of the study show that family empowerment basedagriculture programs such as early childhood education, equality, literacy, life skills, and counseling are the ideal solutions for many community empowerment programs that have been identified. These programs can improve the quality of life of the community and can disseminate the existence of agriculture-based family empowerment programs through non-formal education in supporting the objectives of national education development in Indonesia Keywords: family empowerment, family economy, child growth
