Abstract

Osteitis pubis is a painful self-limiting inflammatory disorder of the adult pubic bones. The incidence of this condition is rare and conventional orthopaedic interest does not embrace this amphiarthrodial articulation. The aetiology of osteitis pubis is obscure, and may pose diagnostic difficulties.
