Abstract
Labor pain is a person-specific pain with varying severity and intensity at each stage of birth. Numerous pharmacological and non-pharmacological methods are available for pain reduction. One or more of these methods can be applied to expectant mothers. Although the ideal method has not yet been discovered, some techniques are close to the ideal. While non-pharmacological methods involve psychological and physical relaxation techniques, pharmacological methods include traditional medical treatments and interventional techniques.
