Abstract

Learning in the 21st century demands high competence, one of which must be able to think computationally, therefore a computational thinking approach needs to be tried to be integrated into learning so that students can have the ability to think computationally. Therefore, learning practices were carried out that integrated computational thinking in Indonesian language lessons on the material for compiling procedural texts which were carried out in class IV SD Kanisius Sorowajan. The purpose of conducting this research is to obtain information about the learning process of computational thinking on the subject matter of procedure texts. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative. Implementation of learning in the form of applying 4 foundations of computational thinking in learning, including: 1.) decomposition to describe the structure of procedural text correctly. 2.) Algorithm to determine the correct order of procedural text 3.) Abstraction to determine essential problems from general problems to find solutions to solve them 4.) pattern recognition to compose simple procedural texts from environmental problems appropriately. The concept of computational thinking is not taught to students but is integrated in the implementation of learning so that students are required to use computational thinking abilities in carrying out learning. The results obtained from the learning activities are as much as 65% of students get scores above the KKM after doing learning that integrates computational thinking. Based on the reflection results, as much as 92% of students strongly agree to carry out learning that integrates computational thinking. Abstrak Pembelajaran pada abad 21 menuntut kompetensi tinggi yang salah satunya harus mampu berpikir komputasional, maka dari itu pendekatan computational thinking perlu di coba untuk diintegrasikan dalam pembelajaran agar peserta didik dapat memiliki kemampuan berpikir komputasional. Oleh karena itu, dilaksanakan praktik pembelajaran yang mengintegrasikan computational thinking pada pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia materi menyusun teks prosedur yang dilaksanakan di kelas IV SD Kanisius Sorowajan. Tujuan pelaksanaan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendapatkan informasi tentang proses pembelajaran computational thinking pada pokok materi teks prosedur. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kualitatif yang bersifat deskriptif. Pelaksanaan pembelajaran berupa penerapan 4 fondasi computational thinking dalam pembelajaran, diantaranya: 1.) dekomposisi untuk menguraikan struktur teks prosedur dengan tepat. 2.) Algoritma untuk menentukan urutan teks prosedur yang benar 3.) Abstraksi untuk menentukan masalah esensial dari permasalahan umum untuk dicari solusi pemecahannya 4.) pengenalan pola untuk menyusun teks prosedur sederhana dari masalah lingkungan dengan tepat. Konsep computational thinking tidak diajarkan kepada peserta didik melainkan diintegrasikan dalam pelaksanaan pembelajaran supaya peserta didik dituntut untuk menggunakan kemampuan computational thinking dalam melaksanakan pembelajaran. Hasil yang diperoleh dari kegiatan pembelajaran adalah sebanyak 65% peserta didik mendapatkan nilai di atas KKM setelah melakukan pembelajaran yang mengintegrasikan computational thinking. Berdasarkan hasil refleksi sebanyak 92% peserta didik sangat setuju untuk melaksanakan pembelajaran yang mengintegrasikan computational thinking.
