Abstract

Sleep, as an important component that cannot be ignored in our daily lives, still confuses many scientists. There is no clear evidence that can support one and only one argument about the function of sleep. Some claim that sleep is a period of time for the body to self-heal and some argue that sleep is for the brain to take a rest, but some proposed that sleep is associated with memory. In our research, we used the PSQI questionnaire with a memory test to evaluate the relationship between sleep and short-term memory performance. By analyzing the data we collected, we concluded that there is no relationship between sleep quality and short-term memory ability.
