Abstract

This research investigates the performance of anchovy suppliers in fulfilling the operational requirements of an Indonesian export company through a multi-criteria approach. The evaluation addresses challenges beyond the assurance of high-quality raw materials, including supply uncertainties and the company's broader commitment to economic viability, social responsibility, and environmental sustainability in the fisheries sector. The Fuzzy AHP is employed to systematically assess suppliers based on price, quality, delivery, service, supplier relationship, reliability, attitude, health and safety at work, and environmental and social responsibility. The findings confirm that Supplier 1 demonstrates the highest performance with a score of 0.3163 based on the evaluated criteria, making it a benchmark for improving supply chain effectiveness. The study recommends adopting a data-driven strategy for supplier evaluation to optimize operational efficiency, strengthen business partnerships, and address the company's challenges. This approach not only enhances the company's competitive position in the global market but also promotes long-term sustainability.
