Abstract
Tuberculous meningitis is the commonest form of neurotuberculosis, which accounts for significant proportion of neurotuberculosis cases in India. Several studies on tuberculous meningitis have been conducted in India and many are ongoing. This communication lists most of the recent studies reported from India and addresses some of the methodological issues concerning studies on diagnostic and therapeutic aspects of tuberculous meningitis.
