Abstract

The article focuses on the digital inclusion initiatives in Brazil including the improvement in education and information seeking behavior through government-academic partnerships. The country's government elected information and knowledge as its sustainability basis in building its future development. Its follow-up program focused on the creation of effective Science, Technology and Innovation National System. It aims at spreading the scientific and technological culture in society. It is encouraging a media coverage of science and technology information. It could also be noted that the information initiatives in the Marilia Public Schools integrate cognitive approaches.
