Abstract

We present a case of life-threatening hyperkalemia after recreational cocaine ingestion. Acute cocaine-induced rhabdomyolysis led to hyperkalemia, cardiac arrhythmias and cardiogenic shock resulting in multi-organ failure. © 2009 Siddiqui et al.; licensee Cases Network Ltd.
