Abstract
: To achieve the aim of the present study as evaluation of the medicinal moringa oleifera leaf extract (MOLE) in combination of antitumor cyclophosphamide to replace the effective steroidal drugs that have many side effects such as obesity, high blood pressure and depression. New extraction method using ultrasonic radiation in water green solvent was employed. Ultrasonic assisted extraction yielded more bioactive compounds as compared to conventional heat extraction. Comparative FTIR spectra, impedance, cyclic voltammetry and chromatography confirmed validation of ultrasound extraction improving yield and quality in addition to heat energy and time spacing. The extraction time and frequency of ultrasound radiation qualitatively and quantitatively affect quality and concentration of extracted phytochemicals. The aqueous ultrasound MOLE showed synergism with Cyclophosphamide (CPA) as potent antioxidant and antitumor agent to breast cancer. The MOLE extracts mitigated toxicity of CPA by decreasing the values of the fifty inhibitory concentrations (IC 50 ) from 198.88 μg/mL to 95.2 μg/mL. This finding suggested in vivo and clinical trials for using USMOLE-CPA
