Abstract

Introduction: Patients undergoing surgery for pelvic organ prolapse (POP) surgery are often not adequately informed about their procedure. Preoperative patient education has been shown to improve postoperative outcomes. The aim of this study is to characterize the methods, resources, and content that female urology/urogynecology providers use for preoperative counseling.
