Abstract
In this paper, we propose an evaluation of French public private partnerships by focusing on the implementation phase of infrastructure but also, which is the first time to our knowledge, the operational phase of projects. Using a questionnaire administered to thirty projects in operation, we evaluate the effectiveness of this type of contract, in terms of cost, time, quality and price/quality ratio. Our quantitative assessment suggests that public administrations are globally satisfied with their projects financed through public private partnerships. © Revue d'économie industrielle.
