Interações e encadeamentos setoriais com os modais de transporte: Uma análise para diferentes destinos das exportações brasileiras

Abstract

The main aim of this paper is to construct a complete analysis of exports and the transportation modals in the Brazilian economy. The global analysiswill be based on the followed indicators: requirement coefficients, Rasmussem-Hirshman linkages, variability indexes and Field of Influence. The main results show that exports to ALADI and Mercosur are dependent on rail services, the road's interdependence is well distributed and modalmaritime represent the key-modal for the exports to China, NAFTA and European Union. Moreover, the iron ore stands on the demand for all modals when exporting to China.
