Abstract

Recently, palladium-catalyzed direct C-H bond functionalization has emerged as the most useful and important methods to construct C-C bond, C-N bond, C-O bond and C-X (Cl, Br, I) bond in organic synthesis. Directing group-assisted selective activation of C-H bond has been received increasing attention. This review mainly covers the recent advances in the versatility and practicality of directing group-assisted sp2-C-H functionalization. © 2013 Chinese Chemical Society & SIOC, CAS.
